Blockapps is a pioneer in blockchain technology, enhancing traditional solutions with emerging technology to transform commerce and unlock the full value of business assets by delivering greater transparency and trust to transactions. Blockapps’s software enables companies to tokenize real world assets to enable ownership transfer, unique identifiers, physical location and add value with transparency data and a market (Mercata) to exchange and trade those assets. BlockApps has created several industry innovations, including the launch of Blockchain as a Service with Microsoft, founding the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (the world’s largest open standard blockchain organization) and being the first blockchain company to partner with all major cloud platforms (Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform). Kieren James-Lubin started BlockApps while he was running the pure research arm of Ethereum and pursuing his PhD in Mathematical Physics at UC Berkeley. Fitz Gate led the Series A with ConsenSys, Galaxy Digital, Fenbushi Capital, and Bloccelerate participating. Subsequently, Liberty City Ventures and Morgan Creek co-led Blockapps $41M Series A round.
