Welcome to the first official Fitz Gate Ventures newsletter! A little more pizazz than the plain email updates we have sent you previously.
Business has been roaring (pun intended…). Both the quantity and quality of Princeton affiliated startups has exceeded even our own early bullish expectations. Our pipeline of Princeton startups is several hundred long and growing, due primarily to daily networking with our 125+ Friends of Fitz, alumni, Princeton faculty/administrators and other venture capitalists. We also experimented recently with an ad in the Princeton Alumni Weekly (see copy below) which proved that print media is in fact not dead as we were inundated by Princeton founders and executives pitching us. Finally, our speaking engagements (see update below) at regional alumni association events and Princeton University-sponsored events has proven very valuable in getting Fitz Gate’s name and mission in front of Princeton entrepreneurs.
